- Pursuant to Article 37 of the GDPR, the company ‘Jura Dla Ciebie – Janusz Kowarczyk’ has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
- The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions. By using the services we offer, you entrust us with your information. This document is intended solely to help you understand what information and data are collected, for what purpose, and how they are used. This data is very important to us, so please read this document carefully as it sets out the rules and methods for the processing and protection of personal data. This document also sets out the rules for the use of “Cookies”.

- The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is:
- Article 6(1)(a): the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes
- Article 6(1)(b): processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract
- Your personal data relating to the conclusion and performance of the contract will be processed for the duration of its performance, as well as for a period not exceeding that provided for by law, including the provisions of the Civil Code and the Accounting Act, i.e. for no longer than 10 years from the end of the calendar year in which the last contract was performed.
- Your personal data processed for the purpose of concluding and performing future contracts will be processed until you object.
- You have the right to: access your personal data and receive a copy of the personal data being processed; rectify any incorrect data; request the erasure of data (the right to be forgotten) in the circumstances set out in Article 17 of the GDPR; request the restriction of data processing in the cases specified in Article 18 of the GDPR; object to data processing in the cases specified in Article 21 of the GDPR; and have the data you have provided, which is processed by automated means, transferred.
- If you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, Warsaw). - We comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and will cooperate with data protection authorities and authorised law enforcement agencies. In the absence of specific data protection laws, we will act in accordance with generally accepted data protection principles, social norms and established customs.

§ 3 Scope and purpose of personal data collection
- We process the necessary personal data for the purpose of providing services and for accounting purposes, and for no other purposes.
- We collect, process and store the following user data provided to us via the contact form:
- first name and surname,
- email address,
- telephone number,
- information about the web browser used,
- other personal data voluntarily provided to us.
- Providing the above data is entirely voluntary, but also necessary for the full provision of services.
- Access to your data may be granted to entities providing services necessary for the operation of the website, i.e.:
- Hosting companies providing hosting or related services to the Controller;
- IT service and support companies carrying out maintenance or responsible for the upkeep of the IT infrastructure.
§ 4 Cookies
- uses cookies or similar technologies (hereinafter collectively referred to as: “cookies”), which are understood to mean IT data, in particular text files, intended for use of the website and stored on the end devices of Users browsing the site. The information collected using cookies allows services and content to be tailored to individual needs and user preferences, and is also used to compile general statistics on how users use the website. Data collected using cookies is gathered solely for the purpose of performing specific functions for Users and is encrypted in a manner that prevents unauthorised access.
- We use the following cookies on our website:
- First-party cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Website’s IT system
- External cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the IT systems of external websites. Scripts from external websites that may place cookies on the User’s Device have been deliberately placed on the Website via scripts and services made available and installed on the Website
- Session cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Website during a single session on that Device. Once the session ends, the files are deleted from the User’s Device.
- Persistent cookies – files placed on and read from the User’s Device by the Website until they are manually deleted. The files are not automatically deleted at the end of the Device session unless the User’s Device is configured to delete cookies at the end of the Device session.
- The following types of cookies are used on our website as they are necessary for the provision of services:
- essential cookies, enabling the use of services available on the website, in particular authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication;
- security cookies, in particular those used to detect authentication fraud;
- performance cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the website is used;
- functional cookies, enabling the ‘remembering’ of settings selected by the user and the personalisation of the user interface;
- Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the end device by default. A user browsing a website may independently and at any time change their cookie settings, specifying the conditions for their storage and for cookies to access their device. The Customer may make the changes to settings referred to in the previous sentence via their web browser settings. In particular, these settings can be adjusted to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to notify the User each time cookies are placed on their device. Detailed information on the options and methods for managing cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).
- Using the website without changing your cookie settings constitutes consent to the storage of cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time by changing your cookie settings. Information on how to configure cookie settings in selected web browsers can be found here:
§ 6 Rights and obligations
- We have the right, and in cases specified by law also the statutory obligation, to transfer selected or all information concerning personal data to public authorities or third parties who submit such a request for information on the basis of applicable Polish law.
- The User has the right to:
- access to personal data The User has the right to access their personal data, which is granted upon request submitted to the Controller
- rectification of personal data: The User has the right to request that the Controller immediately rectify personal data that is incorrect and/or complete any incomplete personal data, to be exercised by submitting a request to the Controller
- deletion of personal data The User has the right to request that the Controller immediately delete personal data, which is exercised upon a request submitted to the Controller. In the case of user accounts, the deletion of data consists of anonymising data that enables the identification of the User. The Controller reserves the right to withhold compliance with a request for data deletion in order to protect the Controller’s legitimate interests (e.g. where the User has breached the Terms and Conditions or the data was obtained as a result of correspondence).
- In the case of the Newsletter service, the User has the option to delete their personal data themselves by using the link provided in every email sent.
- Restriction of processing of personal data The User has the right to restrict the processing of personal data in the cases specified in Article 18 of the GDPR, including challenging the accuracy of personal data, upon request submitted to the Controller
- Portability of personal data The User has the right to receive from the Controller personal data concerning the User in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, to be provided upon request submitted to the Controller
- object to the processing of personal data: the User has the right to object to the processing of their personal data in the cases specified in Article 21 of the GDPR, to be exercised upon request submitted to the Controller
- lodge a complaint: the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection.
